The Carrier Group, LLC has been proudly family owned since 2011. Jim and Terri take great pride in this business which is the product of their continued enthusiasm to find, buy, and sell classic cars. 

The outstanding quality of cars and hard to find parts we sell or source to our customers are second to none. We do not focus on high volume sales or goals, and you’ll still find Jim around the shop with his trademark smile and helpful hand with every classic or muscle car. Terri is integral in the business with customers, and although not a grease monkey, she offers a needed helping hand quite often.

Jim and Terri were recently featured in a 2024 News & Record article for auctioning their 1964 Thunderbolt at the GAA Classic Cars Auction in Greensboro, NC; you can read more about it here.

Starting out as a student in auto mechanics in high school, Jim fell in love with classic cars, learning basics from engine and mechanical work to restoration techniques, which was valuable experience. Since that time The Carrier Group transitioned to a full time business with classic car restoration and sales. 

In 2011 a large new building including office, shop and showroom was constructed by a close personal friend. That was the start of fulfilling a dream, and we are still growing today. 

Our family business has a proud history of excellent work and customer service. What started long ago as tinkering with one classic car or another, has grown into a great love for classic cars for both Jim and Terri. Their first investment grade classic ’66 and ’67 Mustang GT Fastbacks are still proudly owned and displayed in their showroom today.
